I started working with AP Broome in October 2017, after spending all my life working alongside my family in the milk delivery business.
I first met Tony in 2004 and we have always had a good relationship as our business was located right next door to A.P. Broome’s. Actually Tony bought the premises off my dad and since then has gone from strength to strength.
In September 2017 we sold the milk delivery business. But after working all my life and getting up very early to do the milk round, I really wanted another job that gave me the opportunity to learn something new and give me a challenge.
Since starting at A.P. Broome as the yard foreman, I was given responsibility of looking after the plant and machinery that is issued to the operational staff for their daily jobs.
I enjoy every minute working for Tony as it really is like a proper family business. Every day is interesting and we have a good laugh.
It has been such an easy transition from my old job as the team always help and are always friendly and supportive.
